Revamping the website of a successful Amazon agency to boost user engagement,
UX / UI Designer Research Conductor 4 Week Duration 2024

Background
EcommA2Z specializes in optimizing and managing e-commerce strategies for businesses on Amazon's platform. This agency offers a range of services, including product listing optimization, PPC advertising, inventory management, and performance analytics, to help brands enhance their visibility, drive sales, and maximize their return on investment. With a deep understanding of Amazon's algorithms and marketplace dynamics, an EcommA2Z helps clients navigate the complexities of the platform, ensuring that their products stand out and succeed in a highly competitive environment.
Problem
In just nine months, Ecomma2z has experienced significant growth, but their website is no longer effectively supporting the company. A few problems are; when users search for the site, they are directed to a “Free Account Audit” button, which leads them to a form that ultimately schedules a meeting with the agency. Additionally, while the company does have testimonials, they are outdated and fail to capture user interest. Lastly, testimonials and success statistics are crucial for attracting new clients, which Ecomma2z is lacking.
Solution
To address these issues, we have a few potential solutions:
-
Streamline Appointment Scheduling: Since the company already uses Calendly, we could integrate the Calendly appointment scheduler directly into the website. This would eliminate the multi-step process and make it easier for potential clients to book meetings.
-
Add a Success Statistics Page: Implement a dedicated page showcasing success statistics and key achievements, similar to what many competitors use. This can help build credibility and attract new clients.
-
Update the Testimonial Section: Refresh the testimonial section with recent client feedback and consider adding a Q&A section. This will make the testimonials more relevant and engaging for users.

Research Goals
Our goal is to identify what parts of Ecomma2z’s website are frustrating users so we can find the features that will help them meet their goals.
1. Discover what the pain points are with Ecomma2z’s responsive website
2. Understand what the user’s goals are
3. Learn more about the company’s objectives.
4. Find out if the user would be more attracted to different features

Research Results
With competitive analysis and interviews, we discovered 3 major pain points.
1. Testimonials & Case Studies: Potential clients look for testimonials and case studies as a decision maker which Ecomma2z is missing.
2. Forms: Users dislike filling out long forms which ultimately turn potential clients away.
3. The current website feels too generic and corporate.

We focused on adding features such as: "Book a Call" button, Linked In content, Case Studies, and updated testimonials.
